Comparison with 2014
A quick analysis of the changes in the leaders quadrant of the Gartner magic quadrant for BI 2015 that was released earlier today. On sight Qlik, Microsoft, SAS, SAP and IBM have all lost in their ability to execute. In fact the only vendor that wins on this axis is the cloud analytics platform Pyramid Analytics.
SAP bounced back to its 2013 position. SAP, SAS and IBM wins completeness of vision, while Qlik and Microsoft loose on the x-axis, just as Tableau does.
For the smaller vendors Logi Analytics is moving almost into the leaders quadrant. while Tibco Spotfire is dropping out of this quadrant.
